Yes it is possible! Check out this green and totally cool hotel that I stayed at in Washington, DC. It was very stylish and leading edge eco friendly. They reduce, re-use, recycle, compost, low flow toilets, efficient lights, and will even get you a hybrid taxi and a yoga mat too. Best of all it is really affordable too !

Just wanted to let you know about my place – Turquoise Barn – an eco-concious B&B/Retreat on an organic farm in the Catskills. We recycle, reuse,( our 1800′s carriage house and hostel is designed using reclaimed materials) comopost, use low flush toilets, showers, organic bedding & soaps, not toxic cleaning supplies, no chemicals or pesticides. AND….we specialize in vegetarian, vegan & raw food…using organic, from our garden or local whenever possible. Our guests can also take vegetarian, vegan, or raw food transitioning & cooking classes, have a massage, yoga or a number of other personailzed services. Just thought I’d share this with you :)
