This is so timely for me. I am mostly raw vegan. I have been 100% from time to time, but Jarlsberg cheese (and sometimes ice cream) still calls to me. I don’t want it melted or made into anything…Just want to eat it. First thing in the morning with a sweet banana and some Macapro Expresso is awesome. No one needs to tell me what animal products represent in society or in my body, but at the time, I lose any sense of control. Maybe saying it here will shame me enough to let go of it as anything I would ever consider using. I say using, because, now that I have heard Victoria say that there are substances in cow’s milk that are opiate like, I get it. And now I get why non of those substitutes do it for me. I am so happy with my raw food. All I need now is the desire and willingness to let go of this one last thing. Maybe with this understanding, I can abstain!
